    Critique Groups

Literature For Kids will help you find and/or form a critique group. Each group will have no more than ten members. If you want to be part of a critique group, leave a message here with information about what types of children’s literature you write. As people are assigned to critique groups, their comments to this message will be deleted.

Critique groups will meet online using private phpBB message boards, provided here at the Literature For Kids website. There is no cost for this service.

    1. I’m organizing a crit group focused on full length fiction for MG (ages 9 - 12, roughly ), or possibly MG + YA (early teen). I’m open to most genres and styles, including “unconventional” or “genre-blending” work. However, I don’t do well with religiously themed or preachy material. This group will have a regular submission and critique schedule. It is open to serious, highly motivated writers, who can and will keep up with the schedule. That means at least one submission of new or significantly revised material (chapter or sequence) per month. We will operate with submissions and critiques by email only, using MS Word attachments. Max number of members: 8.

If such a group already exists, I’d like to find out about joining it.

Basic info on my project: profiles.yahoo.com/sevenmooncircus

If interested, drop me a note: sevenmooncircus@yahoo.com.

      Thanks!
